Message from the President

The future of video can still evolve.
At the forefront of this, we at PLAY.

With the sophistication of network infrastructure and the diversification of devices, the video distribution market continues to expand at an unprecedented speed.
However, there are many companies that have the value of video content but are worried about how to deliver it.

We, PLAY, have supported the evolution of video distribution infrastructure as a "partner" that responds to such customer issues and creates services together.
And now, the platform we provide has grown to one of the largest in Japan.

This means that we are delivering far more video experiences to society than we are working on a single huge video service.
In other words, PLAY is proud to have become a company that is responsible for the next generation of "social infrastructure" that is close to people in all aspects of life.

What we value most is
"We will continue to refine video distribution technology and its surrounding areas, connect people who want to see it with those who want to show it, and continue to create new video experiences."

The style of video viewing has changed significantly from the era of surrounding the TV in the living room to an era where individuals can freely choose their location and device.
Nowadays, video is not just about "watching", but is evolving interactively and fusing with information.

Our mission is to accelerate this wave of change with technology.
I hope to deliver the "new joy of watching videos" to a bigger and farther distance with the friends I will meet in the future.

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

  • VISION
Six young professionals are actively collaborating on laptops around a large table in a modern office
Enriching people by spreading value through video
Whether it's laughing, crying, moving, or sometimes moving and taking action, videos have a variety of effects on the viewer.
In other words, new value is created at that moment by communicating.
PLAY's vision is to improve people's lives and society by increasing such opportunities regardless of location, time, or environment.
  • MISSION
"I want to see" and "I want to show"
    Creating a Connected World
In order to create a world where "people who want to see" and "people who want to see" are connected,
Not only does it provide a platform to deliver content widely,
    Communication, interaction, authentication and billing,
It also needs features that match the trend of the times and viewing style.
Various mechanisms and functions suitable for each content,
PLAY's mission is to continue to devise ways to make it easier to see.
VALUES
  • THINK USERS
We value service and product creation that are conscious of the user in front of the customer.
  • IMPROVE
Don't be satisfied with the current situation and always think about how to improve it.
  • FAIRNESS
We will face ourselves and all stakeholders in good faith and fairly.
  • ANTENNA
Always keep an eye on new information and actively incorporate what you think is good.
  • OWNERSHIP
We take everything as our own and take initiative and responsibility in tackling various issues and challenges.
