Nukata Garden Hydrangea Garden│Osaka Prefectural Forest

Ikoma in the eastern part of Osaka Prefecture. Ikoma in the eastern part of Osaka Prefecture. The hydrangea garden in Nukata Park ( Higashiosaka Yamate-cho, Osaka), said to be one of the largest in the Kansai region, is home to 25,000 hydrangea plants of more than 30 varieties, delighting the eyes of hikers and other visitors. The hydrangeas are planted along a 1.5-km long winding promenade called "Hydrangea Promenade. Because the hydrangeas bloom at an elevation of approximately 500 meters, it is said that they bloom 2 to 3 weeks later than normal hydrangeas. It takes about 80 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Nukata Station or Hiraoka Station, or about 40 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Cable Ikoma-Yamakami Station to the hydrangea garden. The hiking course to the hydrangea garden is a mountain path. The paths are mountainous and the footing may be slippery in some places during the rainy season. Panorama Observatory│Shiki Ikoma Skyline

Panorama Observation Deck is a popular spot from which visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the Osaka Plain from Mount Ikoma in the eastern part of Osaka Prefecture. The Panorama Observatory is located in the middle of the Shigi Ikoma Skyline, a driving course on the border between Osaka and Nara Prefectures. Because of the beauty of the view from its elevation of 580 m, it has been selected as one of the 100 best nightscapes in Japan by the New Three Great Nightscapes of Japan. The sunset that stains the sky on a clear day is a memorable experience with your family.
