The Kracie business fields encompass areas integral to the daily lives of customers, including Beauty, Pharmaceuticals , and Foods.

Business development around the world
From a total of 47 locations in Japan and 3 overseas locations, Kracie is expanding its mainstay toiletries, pharmaceuticals, and confectionery products to 19 areas around the world outside Japan.

Kracie CSR activities
As social contribution activities, Kracie deploys classes to build brighter futures under the banner of the Experimental Classroom with Confectionery, The Kampo Classroom, and The Classroom for Enjoying Beauty, as well as cleanup activities.

Sales Organization
                Kracie has established a sales structure for each business and business model in order to conduct more specialized sales activities according to the characteristics of each business.
In the consumer business, field staff are assigned in addition to sales representatives from each wholesaler and retailer to provide detailed support in creating sales areas and proposing sales methods. In addition, to further enhance our ability to make proposals to consumers, we are conducting cross-sectional sales activities such as joint business promotions.
In the business for professional use and for doctors, we are building a sales system to deliver highly specialized information to customers nationwide in cooperation with distributors and wholesalers.

                Our mission in research is to develop products and services that will satisfy our customers wholeheartedly, based on a deep understanding of the lifestyle needs and values they seek, by being delicately considerate of every detail of their lives and always remaining sensitive to changes in the four seasons and the details of their lives.
To realize this mission, the Research and Development Division is the driving force behind the creation of high-value products.
At Kracie , we continue our own research and development, from basic research to the application of the results to products, in collaboration with research institutions in Japan and overseas.
Our research activities range from the cultivation of medicinal herbs , which is essential for improving the quality of Chinese herbal medicines, to research on the usefulness of medicines; analytical technology to strengthen our ability to respond to safety risks; improvement of quality assurance technology; clarification of mechanisms such as changes in skin function and hair caused by aging and effects of physical stimuli on the skin and hair moisturizing function; and development of dosage form control technology that is important for the realization of unique product ideas. We are engaged in research and technological development to deliver better products to our customers, including the development of control technologies.
Based on strong teamwork, we have established a system that allows each Researcher to fully exercise his or her creativity in his or her specialized research area. We also believe that the organic fusion of the accumulated research results of each highly specialized area will lead to the creation of new value.
Research Fields

Research and development fields at the Kracie Group mainly focus on the three fields of "Beauty, Pharmaceuticals, and Food", but with an eye on the future, we newly added the "Health & Wellness" field.
Through product development research and basic technology research, we continually create new value and spark innovation in our nature friendly fields of "Beauty, Pharmaceuticals, Food, and Health & Wellness". In our product development research, we start from a foundation in research into both the minds and bodies of the general populace and add to this a blend of product design that actualizes pleasant functionality and user experience as well as advanced technology research for formulation in our quest for ever more satisfactory product creation.
Research Centers
Kracie has established three research laboratories for more specialized research and development in each of its business areas.

In order to provide safe and secure products to our customers, these three laboratories have established their own evaluation standards to check the safety of products from the raw material procurement stage to the final product from a strict perspective. The Well-being Research Center R&D Headquarters was newly established to further strengthen basic and applied research functions in the "medicine, food, beauty, and comfort" area. The center will strengthen basic and applied research for the Group's interdisciplinary fields and new business creation based on the concepts of (1) promoting exchanges with external research institutions, (2) strengthening contacts with the market, and (3) promoting sustainability.

Production System
                Kracie is thoroughly pursuing high quality and low cost at its six domestic plants, and has a production system that can respond quickly to rapidly changing market conditions.

We are also environmentally conscious and support sustainable lifestyles through the widespread use of refillable products.

We provide ethical and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, with a focus on Chinese herbal medicines.
